Dr. Patricia A. Brown, an educator, psychologist, researcher, and author of "Kula San: Maui's Healing Place," will be featured in a “Meet the Author” program at three Maui public libraries from October 25-27.

 

“Kula San: Maui's Healing Place" is a pictorial history that chronicles the lives of patients and workers from the landmark hospital's vibrant past.

 

Dr. Brown will share human interest stories and fascinating details of the lives of patients of Kula San, making it a place of hope, compassion, and healing. The program will include a question-and-answer session. The Friends of the Library of Hawaii is sponsoring this program which is suitable for ages 10 and older.
